Moto G 3rd Gen Spotted Online on Flipkart
Moto G was the device that made the legendary brand Motorola rise from the dead like a phoenix. The first generation of the device even made the Motorola hop into the top 5 best selling smartphones in India, even overtaking Nokia. Moto G has had two generations, both of which did very well in the market. Even though we’re yet to see any news or anything related to the Moto G 3rd Gen, it’s surprising to see Flipkart to list it online on their website.
This leaks comes when the competition is on its the peak on the mid-budget Android phone market in India. Also we have to overlook the fact that the Moto E 2nd Gen shares identical specs of Processor and RAM with Moto G 2nd Gen, which made people’s interest go down on Moto G 2nd Gen. Recently, the Moto G 2nd Gen got a price cut of 2k INR, which was aimed at making it a more competitive model. Now, we can affirm that this price cut is a sign of a new model, incoming!
Nothing much has been revealed, just the device is featuring an 8 GB model too. Only thing that is known other than this is that the model number of the device might be AP3560AD1K8. Also, we can correlate this to the previously known leaks. The specs that leaked include :
- 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 SoC
- 2 GB RAM
- 5 or 5.2 inch 1080p display
- 4G LTE
The link to the Flipkart sale page is still alive, take a look. [Update: The page is now taken down by Flipkart]. But here’s the Google Cache version.

Nothing much is known, but we know something for sure, the Moto G 3rd Gen is coming soon, very soon! This error in the Flipkart website suggests that. They might have been started testing the device, fingers crossed. Stay tuned with Gadgetraid!

Abhijith, another thing is, this might be water resistant to an extent. BBF thing on Flipkart is all about this, I believe.

😀 What did you meant by untouchable!
Motorola continues to prove that even on a budget you can still get a decent phone.
Looking forward for Moto G 3rd Gen , BTW Well written article (Y)
Thanks Nithin! 🙂
8gb? Even Gen2 is got 16gb internal memory. If its 8gb for Gen3 then its a no no from me.
I am planning to buy asus zenfone 2 ze550ml.
Can I go for it or wait for the moto g3.? I think it may be priced around 15k+
Looks like they are advertising themselves.
Nice Update Abhijith. Looking forward for Moto G 3rd Gen.
Yeah! All eyes are on Moto G3!
Motorola was the first mobile company to start the flash sale system in 2013 in India, it increased the competition when they launched the Moto g (1st Gen). This phone was a budget smartphone beating all its competitors. I really hope that they price the Moto g (3rd Gen) in below 10K category, but i know that’s impossible. Still hoping so! 😀
Nfc feature should be given in moto g 3rd gen….& 5.2 display
It might be included, we don’t have a clear image of specs till now!
I have planned to buy Samsung galaxy grand from Snapdeal in one or two days. But this moto 3rd gen is tempting me to buy it. what would be approx price of Moto 3rd generation?
Thanks in advance..
If you’re in a hurry, there are many other awesome products at the price range. Like Mi 4i, Asus Zenfone 2 and even Yureka, consider them also before buying your phone. And you can also wait for the Moto G 3rd Gen, but as we don’t have a good idea on other details of the phone, I can’t say the exact price, but it would be a wonderful device if it is launched in the current pricing of the Moto G 2nd Gen. 🙂
Looks interesting! But not sure whether I’ll consider Moto G (3rd Gen) unless I know the exact price, we have lots of alternatives from MI, Lenovo, etc. 🙂
Yeah! Looks interesting! We also have to wait for the pricing. According to the current trends, the current pricing would be the ideal one. What say?
Possibilities are there of course, lets hope for the best. 🙂
Yup! let’s hope for the best. And that they’d bring back the Moto G 1st Gen magic. 😀
